About Helen's Haven
Our animals are generally classified as "special needs" when we get them. Maybe they're too sick, too shy, too wild, too young, or just too much for a shelter or traditional rescue to handle. We give them the time, love, and attention they need to get ready for their forever home.
Our hope is that most of these very special animals will be adopted by loving families, but that's not always possible. Some will stay with us throughout their lives, safe, well fed, and cared for. But, a few will be able to do more than that. With our help, they'll be able to bring love and healing to people who desperately need it.

Our Mission
We started with cats, and they're still a big focus of our rescue because the need is so great - but there are so few resources. But we've also found help and homes for everything from puppies to horses!
Our Vision
Helen’s Haven was created to provide a place to bring animals in need and people in need together. Sometimes the need is complicated medical attention, and for others it's simply to have someone to love.
